My first video blog post! Exercise & chronic illness…

I woke up this morning with a sudden urge to create my first ever video blog post.   To be honest, the video was easy to make.   I think launching a rocket would have been easier than creating a new YouTube account and a Catch Good Health channel though.  I’m still trying to figure out what Google+ is.

Back to Catching Good Health…  Today’s video blog post is all about exercising with health issues and chronic illness.   I’d love to hear your feedback!   Please let me know what you do for exercise, and what tips, if any, you have for others with chronic health issues.

Hey Erica! I enjoyed your first-ever video blog post! Such good advice… and your personal experience is very motivating. I wanted to share that I even find that exercise helps with the chronic illness I deal with – glaucoma. I know; you wouldn’t think that an eye disease could be impacted by exercise, but it is! My exercise of choice is usually walking, and the dryness and irritation of my eyes always feels better while I’m walking and after I’m finished. It also helps my state of mind, which is so important for coping with the condition and all the fun and games that accompany it. 😉 Thanks for your post!

Hey Leslie! Thanks so much for your comment and for sharing!! That is fascinating- I love that exercise is helping you with glaucoma. So good to know! Exercise definitely helps me cope as well. I feel far better afterwards too. 🙂
